We get a lot of questions on whether we provide paper discovery as one of our services, particularly from attorneys and paralegals who are accustomed to working with us on eDiscovery projects, and the answer is yes! There are a lot of other questions we get asked about paper discovery, so to clear the air, we’ve provided a list of the most commonly asked questions (and answers!) below.

Do we provide paper discovery services?

Yes. We support all of the discovery needs of a case, from forensics and eDiscovery to scanning and printing. Whether you come to us with a device or a room full of paper, we can help gather the information you need for your case.

Do we provide onsite services?

Yes, we do! We will happily set up a mobile discovery site at your office. We provide the equipment and the team and handle all of the logistics. This is a good option for large scanning projects. Alternatively, we can provide a chain of command and take everything in our well-equipped office (this is often a more economical option).

Can we apply search terms and date terms to paper?

No. Unfortunately, that is an option for electronic files only.

Can we do trial printing?

Yes! We thrive at helping legal teams get ready for trial. We understand the nature of trials, that they don’t just occur from 8-5 and that you need a team who is available 24/7. That’s where we come in! While we are a go-to paper discovery resource for many St. Louis law firms, we also work with out-of-town firms who are traveling to the area for a trial. Let us handle printing your exhibits and binders for court, so you don’t have to travel with them. Everything will be ready for you when you arrive in St. Louis.

Are you available 24/7?

Absolutely! We have been part of countless trials and know that things are often needed outside business hours. Let us show why our clients say we offer the best customer service in St. Louis!

Do you offer free local pick-up and delivery?

Yes! We know how busy you are, so we offer free pick-up and delivery within the metro area.

What are turnaround times like?

We have fast turnaround times on projects. We understand that your world moves quickly and that when you need something, you need it now. We strive to turn things around as quickly as possible.

What services do we provide?

We provide a wider range of paper discovery services, including:

  • Copying
  • Scanning
  • OCR services
  • TIFF conversion
  • PDF conversion
  • Blowbacks
  • Trial boards
  • Trial exhibits
  • Deposition exhibits
  • Binding services
  • Finishing services
  • Bates numbering
  • X-Ray digitalization
  • Audio duplication
  • Video duplication
  • Onsite services

How do we handle the data we receive from our clients?

Let us come and have a consultation regarding the type of data received. We can then better understand your case and consult you on how to handle it. It’s very common for people to receive data from their client, opposing counsel, or co-counsel and not know how to deal with said data. We can advise our clients on the most efficient and cost-effective way to handle and review said data.

Can your company help us with trial support?

Yes, we offer a multitude of services to help with trials. We are available 24/7, 365, to support all needs that might arise during your trial. Whether it’s printing, creating exhibit boards, graphics, or workforce needs, we can help in all areas.

Does your company go on location to help us with collecting devices?

Yes, we can pick them up and bring them back to our office or send an examiner on-site to conduct the collection. If a deeper electronic device analysis needs to be done, we can also help with that.

Does your company go on location to scan things on site?

Yes, we have conducted many on-site services over the years. Discussions about how the project needs to be set up, resources that are and are not available, and how much of a time frame is available are among the discussions that we can and will have to understand which of our services are needed. We can send experienced personnel and equipment anywhere required to help facilitate any project. Our expertise in on-site projects is extensive, and we are your best resource to help any on-site project get completed.

What kind of hours do you keep for trial support?

We are available 24/7, 365 days. We know how trials work and understand the need to be available at a moment’s notice. We have people and resources available whenever the need arises.

What different review platforms do we offer?

We currently offer three platforms to help you review your documents. Currently, we have access to the top review platforms in the industry. We have done the research, and upon understanding all aspects of your case, we can advise you and your clients on which platform will be the best option for your case.

What is the easiest way to review these documents?

Once we understand your case, we will advise you and your client what the most efficient and cost-effective way to review the information in your case.

Can you help with printing and shipping for a depo/arbitration/trial in another part of the country?

We have connections all over the country. We have over 50 years of experience in this industry and have established many relationships. We can help you meet your needs, for whatever service is needed, all over the country and sometimes internationally.
