Meet Simon Bagwell

At Precise Legal, we’ve provided expert legal services for over ten years across St.Louis and beyond. But some people still don’t know us as well as we’d like them to, so we had our team fill out a questionnaire to better inform our clients and prospects who we are as a company.
Today, we’ll introduce you to Simon Bagwell, the Senior Discovery Consultant at Precise Legal.

1. What is your role at Precise Legal?

Senior Discovery Consultant

2. What year did you begin working at Precise Legal?

I started with Xact Data Discovery in August 2016. Current Principal Adam Hunter took over the office in January 2018, founding Precise Legal, and I was happy to stay on the team.

3. Where are you from?

A very small town in Texas called Newark

4. What is your experience in the legal industry?

When I first moved to St. Louis, it was a very difficult time. My first day in town was September 11, 2001. I had interviews with several companies, but they all got canceled.

I finally got a call about being a Copy Operator for Pitney Bowes, and I ended up in the Service Center at Thompson Coburn. After a year there, DNT Imaging asked if I wanted to be a Customer Service Rep for them, and I agreed. Within a year of that, I moved up to a Sales role and was with the company for 13 years until it closed. That’s when I joined the company that would go on to become Precise Legal.

5. What do you enjoy about litigation support and eDiscovery?

Everything litigation keeps you busy! Not only that, but eDiscovery is interesting. It’s a fun puzzle to figure out what to do and how to do it.

6. What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to hike, hunt, and target shoot. I have completed a Run N Gun 5k which was awesome. It combines a 5k with a shooting competition. I also like to read when I find a great book.

7. If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Mexican food!

8. What are your favorite quotes?

“Some people come into your life as blessings. Some come in your life as lessons.”  – Mother Teresa

“If you can get through to doing things that you hate to do, on the other side is greatness.” – David Goggins

9. Blues or Cardinals?

LGB Bluessssss

10. Grant’s Farm or St. Louis Zoo?

Grant’s Farm

11. The Hill or Delmar Loop?

The Hill

12. Gooey butter cake or toasted ravioli?

Butter Cake… Banana Pudding…I’m from Texas 😉
