Description
Responsibilities:
- The candidate is an expert user of and provides expert advice on eDiscovery tools such as Venio, Cl Disco, or Relativity.
- Highly collaborative, motivated self-starter with the ability to work remotely and off hours as needed.
- Perform advanced consultation, provide advice and recommendations to clients, and manage workflow design related to legal technology solutions.
- Provides consultation to internal and external legal teams regarding eDiscovery cases, including Early Case Assessment, Collections, Culling and Filtering, Electronically Stored Information (ESI) Processing, Hosting, Document Review, Document Production, Data Archival, and Storage.
- Consult directly with clients and case teams on e-discovery issues, including, but not limited to, preservation, data collection, data culling, staffing needs, technology options, best practices, and application support and training.
- Use discretion and independent judgment to design and implement workflows inside the legal technology applications to meet the needs of case teams and clients.
- Manage and coordinate service delivery using internal and external resources, including negotiating with outside vendors as appropriate.
- Develop and provide internal team members and clients training on legal technology solutions.
- Assist in the development of department best practices and documentation of business processes.
- The candidate is an experienced user of and provides advice on O365 Security & Compliance Center eDiscovery (Core and Advanced)
- Facilitates communication and collaboration among in-house legal teams, vendors, outside counsel legal teams, and support staff to re-enforce and meet the litigation goals and strategies.
- Assist in the development of department best practices and documentation of business processes.
- Keep abreast of current technologies, strategies, and solutions relating to e-discovery and legal technology.
- Manages projects and relationships with processing and hosting vendors.
- Identifies and escalates issues and risks as appropriate
- Provide direction and support to the project team.
- Perform quality control on client project deliverables.
- Account penetration and development for new and existing clients.
Experience and Qualifications:
A qualified candidate will possess the following:
- Bachelor's Degree or significant relevant experience instead of college degree.
- A minimum of 7 years of combined experience in litigation/litigation support, data discovery, litigation project management and e-discovery processing and review technologies.
- Experience in using O365 collection tools (Core and Advanced).
- Experienced in providing support and training for Tier 1 document review attorneys service providers.
- Has demonstrated overall business awareness as it relates to the goals and objectives of the department.
- Proficient understanding of legal terminology and working knowledge of litigation discovery rules and practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with legal and technical teams.
- Experience with O365 Security & Compliance Center eDiscovery Core and AED, PowerShell, Venio, DISCO, Relativity, or other leading e-discovery review applications.
- Experience in developing managed review workflows and overseeing managed review projects
- Extensive experience in EDD processes, tools and systems with consistent use of innovative technology.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations and maintain client satisfaction.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving that instills client confidence wins repeat business and generates excellent referrals.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects involving cross-functional teams within budgetary and schedule constraints.
- ACEDS preferred
- PMP preferred
- RCA preferred
